For all technical nerds: we have developed a tights yarn that is not just single-wound, but double-wound. This means that it is twice as tear-resistant as conventional tights.

We also reinforced the toe and heel areas, which are the two areas that are most vulnerable. We also affectionately call our tights Superwoman. A small side effect of the double-wound yarn is that the tights are super soft and comfortable to wear.

It was clear to us from the start that we wanted to produce in Europe. We were all the happier when we found our production facilities in Italy on Lake Garda, where the focus is on quality and employees.

And you'll notice that immediately when you wear our tights for the first time. All statement tights and sample tights are produced there.

We produce our socks in a family business in Portugal.

We, Vivien and Larissa, are the founders of saint sass and we love tights. One day, when we read Cher's famous quote, "Mom, I am a rich man," we had the idea: Why not make a statement with tights? saint sass was founded by two friends Vivien Wysocki and Larissa Schmid. They both love tights. Vivien is responsible for everything related to branding and social media. Larissa is responsible for the areas of performance, finance and operations.

The largest part of the price is the tights themselves, which we have produced in Italy. Tights from Asia would of course be cheaper, but our quality is unbeatable and definitely worth the investment. Because what's the point of wearing tights that are cheap but immediately pull a stitch the first time you wear them.

The second largest part involves making the statement. This is lovingly handcrafted in Saarland. Further costs include shipping and logistics costs, as well as the costs for our team in Berlin.
